Last week we were given an opportunity to purchase a stone so that we could write a name or a favorite verse on it and this Sunday we would be able to place those stones between the forms where the foundation will be poured. This was a plan to get our church family involved in the remodeling project and also raise additional funds to go toward the project.

Some of the stones families had written their name, some had written a verse but others had written the name of people who once were members but are now with the Lord. God once again was able to take something as simple as writing on a rock and throwing it into a hole to be covered up, into a time of remembrance, reflection and His provision for us.

 Once we placed our stones, our pastor prayed and we were then afforded the opportunity to tour the sight and see the progress made.
